The Indiana Irish Mission Statement:
The Indiana Irish want to provide young baseball players with an opportunity to play competitive and instructional travel baseball, while teaching them the important aspects of teamwork, sportsmanship, having a positive attitude and leadership skills that can be used to develop a passion and understanding for the game of baseball and ultimately to help them in the every day game of life. |
The Indiana Irish proudly announce their new off-season performance program.
- Program is included in player budget.
- Program provides 16 weeks of pitching lessons, hitting lessons, performance training and pitcher injury prevention from Irish provided instructors for one low price.
- Irish players can participate in the program as often or as little as they'd like.
- A very flexible schedule provides many opportunities for participation, which helps Irish athletes playing other sports in the Fall and Winter.
- Schedule is broken down by age, so that players are always working with their peers.
- Entire program is progression based, so players will advance in the program based on measurable development.
- All Irish coaches will participate in the program, which insures that all Irish players are getting consistent instruction from coaches and instructors.
- Pitching lessons, performance training and injury prevention will be provided 4 days a week and hitting lessons will be provided 6 days a week.
- The performance program will be offered to the baseball program only in 2011 with hopes of offering a similar program for softball in 2012 or 2013.
- Irish will offer the program to non-Irish players for a different pricing structure (details will follow soon).
- Each player will have a customized development plan based on collaboration effort of instructors, coaches and parents.
- Program is being customized for each Irish age group, so that every age group benefits equally based on their maturity level.

The 13U Indiana Irish Blue won back to back championships! Memorial Weekend - Pony Express Slugfest Champs - defeating Indiana Prospects, Indiana Longhorns, and Indiana Cyclones along the way to championship. June 4-6, Lafayette Jimmy DeBois Classic Champs, going 5-0 with 64 hits on the weekend! Great Job Boys!!!

The 16u Indiana Irish
recently won the 16u Midwest Wood Bat Championships and finished Runner-Up in the Cincy Flames Open, which consisted of 38 teams. Great job guys!!!

The 11u Indiana Irish won the Indianapolis Sports Park Wood Bat Tourney by defeating the Indiana Sox in the championship 3-2. The Irish went unbeaten in this tourney and allowed only 3 earned runs in 4 games. This marks the 3rd tourney championship for the 11u Irish this season.

The 11u Indiana Irish won the "Hit For the Cycle" Tourney at Indianapolis Sports Park. The Irish ran the table in this tourney going undefeated and averaging just under 11 runs per game. They defeated the Brownsburg Diamond Dawgs in the championship 11-3. This is the second tourney championship for the Irish this season!

The 9u Irish baseball team won the Cameron Brosseau Benefit tournament on 4th of July weekend in Decatur, In. They went 4-0 by beating Avon in the finals by a score of 15-4. The Irish outscored their opponents by a total score of 57-17 in 4 games. Great job Guys!!!!!

The 11u Indiana Irish defeated the Tippecanoe Wolfpack 7-5 in the championship of the Greensburg Spring Swing. The Irish trailed 4-0 out of the gate but scored 5 times in the 2nd inning and never looked back. Aidan Parker pitched 5 strong innings in relief allowing no earned runs for the win. The Irish went unbeaten from start to finish in this tourney and defended their Greensburg Championship from last year. |

The 10u Indiana Irish won the Battle at the Sandlot tournament over the weekend of April 24-25 in Edinburgh, IN. Congratulations boys!!

The 14u Indiana Irish Gold won the Smell the Grass USSSA event held over the weekend of April 17-18. The Irish beat the Cincy Flames in the championship game by a score of 10-3. Congrats on your first tournament win of the season boys. |
